My name is Yvonne Adhiambo Duya 21 years of age. I am a nursing student at Uzima University pursuing Bachelor of science in Nursing.
I am enthusiastic about giving back to the society, supporting marginalized groups and advocating for social change. I have been privileged to work with Uzima University Student Nurses Association association, Kisumu Student Nurses Association, Equity Leaders Club Uzima University, in organizing and having charity events, where we managed to impact hundreds of lives.
I am driven by a strong sense of social responsibility an i desire to make a meaningful difference in the society. My goal is to create a tangible impact and to inspire others to join the course
of charity.
My journey towards charity has been accelerated by empathy on young children who spend on the streets, begging, sometimes in vein, for food and money from passers by. As of that is not enough, I can't help but notice a deficiency in knowledge related to health amongst community members of youthful and adolescent age especially matters reproductive health, which has been clearly evidenced by teenage pregnancies i encounter at the hospital area.
This calls for a change, which cannot be handled by a single person, it requires collective action. I strongly believe Endless love foundation is the perfect organization which can bring this change.
I , equipped with knowledge on good health practices , and a charitable heart, would like to join Endless love foundation in making the world a better place and crafting a better tomorrow.
